Drill Drift also known as wedge shaped drift ,used to remove/loose chuck, sleeve, socket, from a receiving member.
Firstly, The flat tapered key with one round edge , designed to fit into spindle chuck’s slot.Secondly ,Then the tapered shank drill forced to loose.In conclusion Morse tapered key ,used to remove tapered shank tools by inserting the keys into the chucks slot , Then struck with a soft hammer to jar the taper shank tools loose.
These are blackened with permanent marking of size for easy identification .
