R-8 Boring head , designed for precision production boring on machining centers, boring mills, transfer machines and high speed milling machine. Boring head useful to create large hole when tolerance do not allow for a drill bit or do not have a large enough drill or reamer.
A small boring bar inserted into one of the holes. The head can be shifted left or right with fine gradation by a screw, adjusting the diameter of the circle that the cutting tip swings through, thus controlling the hole size.
A Boring Heads have three major components:
- boring head body
- bar holder/insert holder
- dial screw

- Hardened and Ground body.
- Black oxidised finish.
- Cross and Vertical Hole dia 1/2″.
- Offset travel 3/4″.
