Round dies use?

Round dies are thread cutting tools used for producing external threads.  Moreover , these have three or more cutting edges.

whereas,  They are either used for manual use of die holders or clamped into the quill to use in a turning lathe.

In other way Dies are cutting tools that produce external screw threads, also known as male screw threads.  They’re commonly used with die stocks, which are tools that hold round and hex die to ensure proper alignment and uniform threads.  Dies are used to create new threads, and to repair worn and damaged threads.
